Quockra IV (droid planet)
Quockra IV
Description: Quockra IV is something of a mystery. When first discovered by Republic explorers, the planet was full of droids. No one knows who built them. Even the droids themselves don't seem to know; they know that modern droids are designed and built by other droids in underground factories, but they seem to have no knowledge of who originally built the droids. Native droids are not of any known design, though they will construct droids to order if technical specifications can be supplied. Attempt to abduct droids results in a quick reprisal from security droids (who usually remain hidden), but otherwise the droids here seem to ignore most organics unless directly engaged in conversation. While there is no actual spaceport, ships are allowed to land near the few known "settlements", where they may trade with the locals and purchase limited supplies (fuel and parts are available, but food is not, as the droids don't produce any). The droids do accept Imperial currency, though they seem more eager to barter.
